In collaboration with the Pasadena Unified GATE department, The Institute for Educational Advancement will be offering free online afterschool Innovation Clubs for GATE middle school students starting the week of February 7th. Complete this form to request a course.

Class Descriptions
Each student may only enroll in ONE club, but can include both their first choice and second choice in the questions below.

3D Printing - Combine design and tech skills to create 3D prints that solve problems. (Will primarily use TinkerCAD and OpenSCAD software; both free)

Science Fiction Writing - Learn to build a fantasy world that follows sound scientific principles and explores a compelling story

Invention - Create your own product, beginning with an idea and working through prototypes, testing, and pitching it to the public


We are also hoping to schedule an Environmental Innovation club, in which students will combat the climate crisis and other environmental issues using creative problem solving skills.
