2021 ASOR Student Paper Award Application
Applications for the 2021 Student Paper Award are due November 8. This award is conferred upon the author(s) of a paper presented during the in-person (Chicago, Nov. 17-20) or virtual (Online, Dec. 9-12) components of the Annual Meeting that conveys the results of a study about ancient Near Eastern and wider Mediterranean societies in a clear, understandable and convincing fashion. The first author and presenter of the paper must be a registered student at the time of presentation in order to be eligible for consideration for this award.

Submit Your Paper Presentation by November 8
Paper presentations should be recorded (mp4 video, 20 minute maximum) and sent to Jared Koller (jaredkoller@asor.org) via a DropBox link or other file sharing method. Even if you are presenting your paper live in Chicago, you still need to submit the application and video recording in order to be considered for the Student Paper Award. This application form and the presentation file are due by November 8.

By submitting your presentation, you give ASOR permission to host your presentation on ASOR's Virtual Annual Meeting Platform that will be visible to all Annual Meeting attendees and sent in advance to the award reviewers from ASOR's Honors and Awards Committee. You also agree that you have all of the necessary permissions to share the material included in your presentation. ASOR may remove presentations at any time if they are found to conflict with ASOR's Policy on Profession Conduct in any way.
