FESTIVAL BACKGROUND
Underneath the Stars Festival is a weekend event of music & family arts in the heart of South Yorkshire. It is organised by the family production team of acclaimed Yorkshire folk singer-songwriter Kate Rusby, with an emphasis on creativity craft and quality. UTSF attracts up to 5000 folk each day over three days and takes place on the weekend of the 4th August - 6th August at Cinderhill Farm, Cawthorne near Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The majority of people camp for the entire period.
The festival is seeking and will prioritise applications seeming to best reflect our values, which include: fair and ethical trading; environmental sustainability; value for money to customers; of cultural benefit to the local community, creativity and innovation.
The festival site is nice and compact, making it ideal for families to get amongst the action whilst never being too far from their base of operations, be it a tent, motorhome, caravan or luxury Glamping spot. In addition to two towering big-top music venues, (main stage venue is fully seated, with an “attentive - concert hall” ambience, stage two is a standing venue for a more boisterous atmosphere) the festival site features lively street-arts performers, workshop activities, handmade crafts and vintage stalls as well as boutique street food vendors and bar areas.
‘TRADERS WALK’ 2024
The following information is provided in relation to the opportunity to trade from your own trading structure located within the main events field of the festival. There will be approximately 10 of these trading pitches available. Demand for these pitches will be high and we will be actively prioritising applications with unique, creative and innovative products. Locally sourced and manufactured items. Hand-crafted, one of a kind pieces. Recycled, upcycled and sustainably sourced goods.
Pitch fees are £134 + VAT per metre of frontage, for a pitch to self erect your own structure.
