Artemis and the National Wildlife Federation is committed to providing a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for our staff, partners, guests, and volunteers during all Artemis events. We are committed to inclusion, collaboration, empowerment, mindfulness, and our mission-focus. As we all move forward, it is ever more important for each of us individually to embody those values in our work and in our interactions with each other.

It is the responsibility of all Artemis event participants to treat each other with dignity and respect at all times. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for people of every gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, ability level, physical appearance, body size, religious views, race, and ethnicity.

The National Wildlife Federation does not tolerate the harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, abuse of authority, or mistreatment of any individual.

If you experience or witness harassment, feel uncomfortable, or have any other concerns, please report this immediately to the Artemis Ambassador hosting the event, Artemis Program Manager Carlee Koutnik (koutnikc@nwf.org), or Artemis Southeast Regional Coordinator Ashley Chance (chancea@nwf.org). Artemis will take swift, appropriate measures to protect those who have experienced harassment or mistreatment to ensure they feel safe for the duration of the event.
