MS Teams Classes and Canvas Integration Pilot
Microsoft is deepening its integration with Canvas and there is a new integration we are piloting called "Microsoft Teams classes."  This integration gives you a link in the left hand course navigation of your Cavnas course that passes you and your students directly through into Microsoft Teams. The integration uses the roster in your Canvas course to populate the corresponding Teams area. From here, you have access to the robust collaboration tools of Teams including, chat, channels, file sharing, a class notebook, the ability to create MSTeams meeting for web-conferencing, recording/streaming using Stream, apps, and more. Please fill out the survey below to join the pilot for Fall 2021.

A note about pilots
This is a new integration that is still in development by Microsoft and Canvas. Sometimes when integrations are new there could be changes to how the integration works, you may gain features or lose access to features midstream. They may change the name of the product (we have already seen them do this once!)  Alert us at edutech@chapman.edu if you experience any hiccups along the way. Thank you!
