This Fellowship is open to any current or incoming student in good standing at one of the seventeen UNC System institutions. A total of four awards will be given out for the Spring semester, and only one student per campus may receive an award.

If selected, Fellows will be awarded $1000 over the course of the semester - $500 up front and $125 at the end of each month January through May. Fellows will be given guidance from student leaders across different campuses and the opportunity to network with members of the Association.

In return, Fellows will work with their cohort to identify a problem or opportunity facing students of the UNC System, research the history of the issue(s) identified, evaluate potential responses and stakeholders, and ultimately present their findings and recommendation to the Association General Assembly near the end of May. Fellows will need to be available for web meetings several times per month.

Priority will be given to students who are remaining in the UNC System through the 2021-2022 academic year, though all applications will be considered.
