Site Lead Job Description
Position Title: Site Lead, Care Fresno, Inc.
Hours: 10 hrs/wk for Residents, 12 hrs for Apprentices
Compensation: $15/hour
SUMMARY
The role of the ASP Site Lead is to ensure that the program site is successfully operating. This position directs the daily functioning of the site/program to ensure the safety and organization of all the youth and volunteers at that site. This position reports to the Neighborhood Programs Manager on a regular basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and facilitate day-to-day operations of homework, activities, etc. at programming at your designated site.
Log attendance for youth and volunteers, supervise Mission Care team, and complete daily and monthly paperwork
Attend all Site Lead meetings, weekly urban leadership classes, and community development classes.
Be available to assist with responsibilities and tasks in the office.
GENERAL
Send monthly news and support letter to a donor base of at least 30 names for the purpose of raising $500 monthly in Care Fresno general support. Maintain a file of said letters and maintain a relationship (personalized thank you letters, coffee meetings, etc.) with personal donor base.
Develop a knowledge management system (such as Google Drive and Asana) that ensures maximum sharing of information and learning throughout the organization.
Participate in performance evaluations.
Attend some community events in the evenings and/or weekends, and professionally represent Care Fresno.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
High-School Diploma and some college education.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or in progress preferred.
History of working with youth and/or urban ministries preferred.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be a U.S. citizen or have a Permanent Resident status.
Possess a valid CA Driver’s License, insurance, and/or have reliable transportation.
Able to pass a fingerprinted background check.
Highly organized with a flexible approach to problem-solving. A successful track record in setting priorities, a thorough understanding of project management, and the ability to meet deadlines and goals.
Understand and exemplify that the goals of the team take precedence over personal agenda.
Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills; bilingual preferred but not required.
An ability to balance, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Computer and typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and mail merge functions. Familiarity with Google features such as Gmail, Drive, and Calendar preferred.

● Complete the Mission Care Urban Ministry Program, which will run August 2022 to August 2023
● (Commuters) Serve a minimum of 6 hours per week in your assigned neighborhood and attend After-School Programs and Bible Studies a minimum of 1 day per week. These programs run at or around 3:00-5:00pm
● (Residents) Serve a minimum of 10 hours per week in your assigned neighborhood and attend After-School Programs and Bible Studies a minimum of 2 days per week. These programs run at or around 3:00-5:00pm
● (Residents) Pay Care Fresno $25 a month in dues. This is coverable by others donating in your name and can be paid in advance.
● Attend weekly night Urban Leadership Classes and Trainings, 6:30-8:30pm (the day of the week for these classes and trainings may vary each semester based on the team's needs)
● Attend Parent and Community Nights
● Serve at a minimum of 2 program events or field trips
● Attend Mission Care Weekend Retreats (Fall and Summer)
● Serve at the Fall Ball annual fundraiser
● Serve one week at Care Camp (Summer)
