The distressing condition of women’s safety in India has evoked public outrage and politicised the issue of women’s safety.  In light of this, the Indian government has extensively resorted to installing surveillance cameras in public spaces to ensure safety.
Given that CCTV cameras have their own advantages and disadvantages, through this survey we hope to understand the female opinion of this policy.

The overall price for installation of a CCTV system is around Rs. 5000 and the price for every additional camera is approximately Rs. 1000 depending on the product used.
