This form is for gathering contact information from artists/designers who would potentially be interested in making a Brighton Bazaar poster at some point in the future. Our posters are used in digital ads that are seen by an average of 100,000 Boston-area individuals per market date, and we often make physical copies that get put up all over the city.
Our poster artists/designers will always be paid, compensation is relative to the size of the budget for the poster's intended use. Depending on your preferences, we are open to approaching this relationship as a mutually beneficial collaboration rather than a simple work for hire arrangement.
Meaning that going forward, we would like to be more overt about promoting the artist who makes the poster. This could be in the form of a blurb about you in the advertisements with a link to your shop, one or several social media posts highlighting you/your work, a signature on the physical poster that sends customers to your business (QR code, social media handle, email etc.), high quality prints of the poster that you can sell, etc. There is flexibility in how that promotion is accomplished, marketing is a big chunk of our operating budgets out of necessity (to ensure customer traffic to events).
