Anyone interested in serving as a member of the BHS newspaper staff for the 2023-2024 school year should complete this Google Form application by Noon on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023. You MUST have taken Journalism 1 in a previous school year, or you will need to register to take it when you complete your class registration.  You cannot take Journalism 2 without ever taking Journalism 1.  If you have taken Journalism 1 already, you will take Journalism 2 all year.  If you are taking Journalism 1 and 2 at the same time, you will have J1 for the first semester and J2 for the second semester.  Since both meet during the same class period, it will only take up one period on your schedule.

You will receive an email from me by Feb. 13th letting you know if you have been accepted for Journalism 2.  Do not register for J2 unless you have received the acceptance email. Counselors will have the list of accepted students and remove J2 from your schedule if you have not been approved.
