The Game Discovery Exhibition (GDX) is Canada's largest indie games festival; it celebrates games culture and game development from around the world, with a particular emphasis on indies. The GDX 2024 exhibition will be taking place from July 19-28. The event will be comprised of over 30K sqft. of space and will run across all 10-days of K-Days. Attendees to GDX will experience video games, table top games, indie games, serious games, esports tournaments, live music, speakers, and more. GDX is an event created to promote and support indie game developers, as such, we have been able to secure enough support for this year's event to offer all approved indie developer booths for free.
For more information about the conference (July 17-18), please visit our
website.
This application consists of the following elements:
1. Studio Profile: who you are and some information that we will share with the general public.
2. Product Profile: description of your product, recent screenshots, and a high quality trailer.
3. Demo, Trailer, and Presskit Links: a link to a recent demo of your game, trailer, and presskit.
4. Exhibitor Needs: current information about what you need to bring and what you can request.
Exhibitor booth space is extremely limited, and we will be doing rolling evaluations each month as we approach May 12, 2024.
Successful applicants may receive approval before the May 12 deadline. Therefore, the sooner you apply for GDX 2024, the more likely you will be approved for a free both.
Exhibitors are not required to attend all 10-days of the event; please fill out your availability in your application. As we are an indie focused event, we are making efforts to move exhibitors in and out throughout the exhibition, so please make sure to carefully read that section before submitting your application.
