Conference of Youth 17 (COY17) - Road to Sharm El-Sheikh
The 17th U.N. Climate Change Conference of Youth (COY) is the youth precursor event to COP27 of YOUNGO, the official Children and Youth Constituency to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
COY aims to empower youth and formally bring their voices to the UNFCCC negotiation processes and shape the intergovernmental climate change policies. Youth from all countries are invited to apply and come together to build capacity and technical knowledge about COP, develop shared strategies and feed into the Global Youth Statement of international youth policy demands with inputs from LCOYs, RCOYs or other pre-COP climate preparations.
Thus, the application is formally launched to become a delegate for the 17th Conference of Youth which is taking place from 2nd - 4th November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, immediately prior to COP27.
Application deadline: 10th of October 11:59 PM GMT
There is a limited number of funded, partially funded and self-funded spots.
