Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to support your child's learning and development during this critical time. The Crim Center and AmeriCorps have collaborated to develop comprehensive day and after-school programming for elementary, middle and high schools known as T.E.E.M.S. (Technology, Engineering, Environment, Math and Science) AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps members are responsible for providing supplemental instruction and support in the areas of math and science during the school day. AmeriCorps members also lead dynamic after-school programming designed to provide homework assistance in math and science while creating fun strategies for learning.

Student Code of Conduct

1. Students are to have reviewed the materials provided by teachers beforehand.
2. Students should come to the tutorial with a list of 1-2 questions to ask the tutor for assistance.
3. Students are to be attentive during the tutorial session to maximize tutor support and be respectful of other students' support needs.

Parent/Legal Guardian Code of Conduct
1. Parents are to be present in the room during the tutorial session to support student safety.
2. Parents are to ensure that students have reviewed the appropriate learning materials to prepare the student for tutorial engagement.
3. Parents are to, as much as possible, provide a quiet learning environment for the tutor and student.

Recording Notice

It is important to note that tutorial sessions will be recorded to protect our AmeriCorps members, students, and parents/legal guardians in case there are any concerns while working with minors.
