Design App Development Priorities
We want to hear about the use you are planning to give to your Kniterate in order to make sure we are building a product that is useful for you.

The design app is divided into 4 main blocks (A, B, C, D). We are first asking which one is more interesting to you (question #1) then what should be the development priorities within each block (questions #2,#3,#4, #5)

All the questions require you to rank your interest. From very interested (1), to not interested (4).

1 - What are you going to be working on the most? *

A. Templates (shapes)
B. Patterns (graphic designs)
C. Stitches work (textures)
D. Designs network (share and use existing designs)
2 - A. Templates: what type of pieces do you mainly plan to knit? *

Garments (customizable standard sizes. This are usually multiple panels that require linking)
Accessories (large variety of simpler shapes)
Swatches (always similar rectangular shapes)
Experimental (my own shapes, to be yet discovered)
2b - Specify if there is any type of piece within the groups above you'd want to be making in particular
3 - B. Pattern: what is more important for you? *
Take into account that as of today, you have the possibility to entirely create your pattern in an external design software and import the design with an image into the design app.

Tools to design (draw, shapes, mirror, etc)
Tools to manipulate imported images (scale, color reduction, color swapping, etc)
Tools to add text (font, size, rotate, etc)
Patterns library (drag and drop predefined patterns)
4 - C. Stitches: what is more important for you? *

Stitches library (drag and drop predefined stitches)
Total freedom to create any type of stitch
Yarn parameters database (with selected yarns; its tension, speed, etc parameters)
Realistic visualization of the fabric/texture
5 - D. Designs network: how would you like this to work? *
We don't consider this block an essential part of the app so we haven't done any work on it. We'd like to know if we should keep it that way or if we should spend some time working on it. A network of this kind could help you minimize the amount of design work since you could re-use existing work, get inspired by others' work, show your work, etc. Note: By default all your designs are private, only you can see them.

I'd like to sell some of my designs
I'd like to find a good selection of designs publicly available to re-use
I want to use only my designs and I'm not interested in sharing them
