This will be the first club trip for 2020 and if the weather is anything like it is now it should be a really good one.

We are staying at the Paradise Valley Lodge,  a really nice place to stay. For those who have not been there before it is right on the banks of the Ngongataha so there is a choice of river or lake fishing.

I asked our friend Harvey Clark which was the best month to come for the lake fishing and this date was his pick.   If the lake heats up the fish come in to the river mouths for the colder water and the fishing can be sensational.  But it is a lottery!!  The only thing for sure is that we won’t catch fish if we are not there!

How to get there.

Paradise Valley road is off to the right as you drop down towards Ngongataha. Carry on up the road and the lodge is on the right hand side.

They will be expecting us on Friday night.  As usual have your own evening meal on the way down, breakfast,  dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday is provided.

Cost     120.00 per person.  Beds are made up with pillows and sheets so there is no need to bring a sleeping bag.   Trips Bank account is:  03-1527-0055977-000

Booking    I already have a few a few prospective starters.  We have the lodge booked but there are more beds available if we can reserve them in time.   Go on to the website, or if this doesn’t work call me, I am keeping a list.
