Welcome to the micro-grant application sponsored by Union Park District Council. No project is too small to be considered, and the only eligibility requirement is that projects must occur in the Union Park neighborhood. The micro-grant project is to help fund activities for neighbors to get to know each other, grow connections among residents, exchange ideas, and share resources.
Funds up to $400 can be requested for projects that connect neighbors, beautify blocks, and more. Wondering what you could do with a micro-grant from UPDC? Previous examples of micro-grant-supported projects include:
• Sewing club for residents at Skyline apartments
• Girl Scout-led native perennial planting project
• Paint the pavement beautification project
• Collaborative gardening between neighbors
Please fill out the application below to the best of your abilities. Don't hesitate to email
leah@unionparkdc.org with any questions. Paper applications are also available. You can learn more about micro-grants at

The priority deadline for applications is May 15, 2023, and funds will be distributed in June. Applications can be submitted through June 1 but may not be approved until July.
