This survey was created in the framework of the project VERILOR of Neuchâtel's Haute École Arc, in Switzerland (https://www.he-arc.ch/cr). The project explores the possibility of identification of natural and synthetic varnishes applied to copper alloy objects. The aim is to provide a simple and accessible diagnostic tool for conservators and restorers in order to better orientate the types of treatment.

This questionnaire is addressed to conservators and restorers who have been confronted in their practice with the treatment of copper alloy objects and in particular with their varnishing. All answers are collected and processed anonymously but personal information can be specified if desired. The questions are divided into 3 sections and the survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
