Proximity to Fault Lines Survey: Help Us Gather Data for Research!
Description:

I’m Russel Ron Munoz, a researcher from the 2nd year COM231 - SECA Dept. in National University, Dasmariñas,  working on a project and research study as part of our partial requirements for the subject Data Structure and Algorithms. This study entitled  “Mapping and Analyzing Philippine Fault Lines and Waypoints for Disaster Preparedness: A JXMapViewer Implementation”. It seeks to develop a comprehensive mapping and analysis tool that identifies key fault lines across the Philippines. Utilizing the JXMapViewer platform, the research aims to visualize these fault lines and establish waypoints that can inform future studies and contribute to discussions in the field.

This survey seeks to collect location data to evaluate the risk levels for individuals living near fault lines in the Philippines. Whether or not you reside near a fault line, your participation is valuable in helping us understand the geographical distribution of populations in relation to these fault lines.

Your address will be kept confidential and solely used for project mapping purposes in a Java application designed for risk assessment. Your input will significantly contribute to our research and the development of better risk assessment models.

If at anytime you discontinue the interview, your results will be discarded. The results of the research study may be published, but your name will not be known and used. We promise that all the information that we will get from you will keep confidential for your safety and privacy.

If you have any questions concerning the research study, you can email russelronmun23@gmail.com. Your involvement with this research is highly appreciated and valued. Thank you and God bless!
