The Discord for Interactive Narrative (DIN for short) is accepting new members! We made this group so people interested in game writing, narrative design, IF, and other related media have a place to connect, chat, and learn from each other away from the glare of social media. We welcome anyone actively working in the field of game narrative or a related industry discipline, whether at a company or freelance. We also welcome folks from outside the industry who want to learn more. Students, interns, players, readers--if you're interested in games or interactive narrative, you belong here. However, to keep this group friendly, you MUST be recommended by someone already in the group.

We have channels for major topics like writing and gaming, an off-topic chat channel, channels for hiring/for hire posts, and special interest channels. In the future, we might host events. We'll see what the group wants to do!

This group is moderated by volunteer administrators. Our goal is for the community to be a safe place for everybody regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion. We will immediately boot anyone found to be violating the discord rules.

PLEASE NOTE: We process applications manually, so you might have to wait a bit for approval. We'll get to you as soon as we can. We only respond to successful applications.
