We are a group of UWC Alumni and we have started a movement to initiate a drive to help
families and children in Hong Kong who are suffering from the brunt of economic downturn
brought about by the COVID 19 crisis.

Thank you to all generous donors, we 1) fundraised HK$300,000+ for the emergency stipend
scheme at Sham Shui Po S.K.H. Kei Oi Primary School and supported 100+ families through three phases of distributions in 2020; and 2) assisted in the donation of masks and sanitizers to Sham Shui Po S.K.H. St Andrew's Primary School and Sham Shui Po S.K.H. Kei Oi Primary School.

We are now calling for another round of donations to support these
students' families, as many are still under very challenging times.

A significant portion of students’ families are experiencing loss of jobs, salary freeze or reduction. Within these families, some are experiencing severe financial difficulties. As we expect that the impact of the pandemic will likely last for a prolonged period, we are urging warmhearted donors to offer a helping hand in cash, cash coupons, face masks, digital devices and other resources to help these students’ families go through the tough period.

We will go through trusted distribution partners that have immediate access and accountable channels to reach these families and children in need in Hong Kong.
HK$500 -- Support a family’s supply of utilities for 1 month
HK$1,000 -- Support a family’s food supplies for 2 weeks
HK$2,000 -- Support a family’s rent in public housing for 1 month
HK$3,000 -- Support 1/ 2 month of rent in non-public housing

Target Groups:
Low income families in districts such as Sham Shui Po which have no other immediate cash sources enough to cover urgent needs.
