Tokyu Corporation recently awarded us the Tokyu Kodomo Ouen 2023 grant. This grant will enable us to take on a new project for our children and community to appreciate the richness of various cultures by offering some intercultural events and raising children's awareness of diversity. We would appreciate it if you could cooperated in this project in any of the following activities:
We are urgently looking for 3 international ambassadors for each community event below. All events aim for children 4 years and older in Tsuzuki-ku and Aoba-ku.
◉"My Country Day"
Introducing one-themed cultural activities from three different countries.
For example, game theme, festival theme, etc.
Planning schedule: 4 times/year
June - Tsuzuki-ku
July - Tsuzuki-ku
November - Tsuzuki-ku
Total ambassadors required: 12 people
◉"Multicultural Story Time"
Introducing one-themed stories and activities from three different countries.
For example, folk story themes, etc.
Planning schedule: 4 times/year
May 21st - Aoba-ku
September - Tsuzuki-ku
November - Aoba-ku
Total storytellers required: 12 people
◉For those willing to be a cultural ambassador, please be sure to attend the kick-off meeting.
If you are unable to make it, please let us know in the form when you can meet with us in another way.
