The Westchester-Playa Democratic Club is participating in Friends of Ballona Wetland's Earth Day event where volunteers will pull invasive plants and weeds and collect trash from Ballona Creek. Please RSVP below and join us as we help tend to one of Los Angeles' coastal jewels!
We will meet in promptly at 9:30am in the parking lot behind Gordon's Market at 303 Culver Blvd in Playa del Rey. Volunteers should wear long pants and hiking shoes or running shoes. Please also bring hats and sunscreen, as well as refillable water bottles. For those who arrive early, coffee and light breakfast snacks are available.
