Beyond Face are holding taster sessions in late June/early July as part of a pilot director's programme for working and aspiring directors based in the South West region of England who are from the African/Caribbean diaspora, are South, East or Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, North African or from ethnically mixed backgrounds. These sessions are aimed at those aged 18+ who want to learn more about directing as well as those with previous directing experience. They will be a way for you to learn and build new skills and meet other directors and potential collaborators from the region.

27th June: 10-1pm with Matthew Xia
29th June: 6:30-8:30pm with Tanuja Amarasuriya
6th July: 6:30-8:30pm with Alix Harris

These 3 one-off sessions led by professional directors will be a means of investigating whether there is a desire for a more long-term programme for directors as part of our Artist Development Programme and of course to begin meaningful relationships with South West based artists. The programme will consist of a mixture of in-person and online sessions. Register your interest below!
