Thank you for your interest in Texas Brigades' Summer Camps program! Please read all instructions carefully:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in learning more about the outdoors, wildlife and natural resource conservation, and who wish to share that interest with adolescents. An Adult Leader serves as a mentor, counselor, and guide for five or six teenagers (13-17 years of age) as they progress through a five-day conservation leadership camp.
As an Adult Leader, you will participate in ALL of the activities in which the youth participate, some of which are PHYSICALLY DEMANDING. Physical activity will include team-building and leadership exercises, being in and outdoors throughout the day, walking/marching in Texas summer heat & humidity, walking through brush, wading in water, etc. If the kids are doing it - you will too! Experience with wildlife, fisheries, and/or agriculture is not required.
