4-H Experimentopia Virtual Club Interest Form
Greetings!  Thank you for your interest in our virtual Experimentopia Club.  This club will meet online from Feb 9th on the second and fourth Tuesday's until May 11th and will be led by faculty members of the Maryland 4-H program.  This club is open to youth ages 11 to 18.

Although virtual activity clubs are new to Maryland 4-H, they provide all of the elements and opportunities that Maryland 4-H has offered youth members throughout its rich 100+ year history: hands-on learning,  connections with peers and caring adults, and an inclusive, safe environment.

To participate in the 4-H Experimentopia virtual activity club, you will need to sign up for Maryland 4-H during  Enrollment for 2021 which will open in early January.  When you enroll, you will be able to choose Experimentopia as the club you want to join.  You can also join other 4-H clubs you may be interested in, now or in the future!  The annual $10 enrollment fee gives you access to a full year of fun and enriching Maryland 4-H activities and events!

Please note that by completing this form you are just letting us know that you are interested in joining the Experimentopia virtual activity club.  You are not enrolling in Maryland 4-H.  A club leader will contact you to help you "officially" join 4-H and the club when enrollment is open in January 2021.

Please complete a separate form for each youth member of your family who is interested in joining the club.

Club Age Range: Youth ages 11-18

Club Description:
Come and join us in the Experimentopia science laboratory where youth will use common household items to conduct different experiments at each session that explore animal and plant science subjects.  We will send out a list of the common household items we will be used for each experiment so that we can do these experiments together. Youth will share common interests and interact through online games and experiments, and they will have the chance to practice communication skills in a supportive environment by allowing them to do a short presentation on an experiment of their own at the conclusion of this series.

Sessions will run at 7 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in Feb, Mar, April, and one in May of 2021. Those dates are: 2/9, 2/23, 3/9, 3/23, 4/13, 4/22, 5/11

Registrations are due by December 15, 2020.
