The
Satir Summer Intensive will be held in-person at the Hampton Inn & Suites
Carrboro/Chapel Hill Downtown, 370 East Main Street, Carrboro, NC 27510. The
training starts on Sunday, July 14,2024 at 5:00pm and ends at Noon, Saturday,
July 20,2024.
This is the Application form for all applicants
as well as the Scholarship Application for those requesting financial
assistance. Applications will be reviewed and approved by the Trainers, Jean
McLendon & Hugh Gratz. Once your application is reviewed, you will
receive email notification regarding approval of your registration. Once you
receive your approval, you will need to register and pay your registration fee.
COVID-19
SAFETY
For the health
and safety of all participants as well as the trainers and support staff, we
expect all participants to show proof of vaccination (with boosters) or show a
negative Rapid Antigen Test result taken the morning of the first day of
training.
For those
fully vaccinated with boosters: Show proof of vaccination. We prefer that you email a photo of
your CDC vaccination card prior to start of the training to mailto:waynestrider@gmail.com or you will be asked to show your CDC vaccination
card upon entry to the opening session of the training. Fully Vaccinated with
Boosters is preferred.
For those
unvaccinated or vaccinated without boosters: Show a negative Rapid Antigen
Test result. If you
are unvaccinated or vaccinated but not boosted, bring your negative Rapid
Antigen Test taken the morning of start of the training on Monday, July 10th at
8:30am. You will be asked to show your test upon entry to the opening
session of the training.
As an extra
precaution in addition ALL STAFF and PARTICIPANTS who are fully vaccinated
with boosters are requested to take a Rapid Antigen Test and show a
negative test upon entry on the first morning of the training.
Please bring
Rapid Antigen Tests with you.
- Mask wearing
is optional during the training.
- If you
develop symptoms, test immediately. If you test positive, you will be asked to
isolate until testing negative for three consecutive days.
We
recommend all participants
- Have an up-to-date booster.
- Take precautions during travel (wear
masks and maintain distance from others when possible)
- Self-test on third day of training
One final
note
The Covid-19 situation is fluid and
can change rapidly. The instructors may need to modify the Covid-19 policy at
any time during the training.
SCHEDULE
Training begins at 8:30am Eastern time
on Monday, July 10 and at 9:00am each day starting Tuesday, July 11 through
Saturday, July 15. Training ends each day at 5:30pm except on Wednesday when
there will be an evening session from 7:00 to 8:30pm.
