Sign up to compost your home food scraps at Trinity
Trinity is expanding it's composting efforts by adding compost pick-up locations beyond the dining facilities. We will now have a compost bin outside the Smith House and behind Hallden/McCook. These bins are primarily to collect food scraps from on-campus events. However, we expect that we will not fill the bins up through events alone and would like to expand collection to Faculty and Staff who collect food scraps at home.

If you would like to bring your home food scraps to campus to be composted, please fill out the form below.  It is imperative that we collect ONLY compostable materials or we may incur significant fines and create serious difficulties for Blue Earth, the company that collects and composts our food scraps.

You cannot start bringing in your food scraps until you submit this form and are told you are approved. We will let you know which location to dispose of your food scraps based on sign-ups.

If you are interested in home composting, but do not want to bring your scraps to campus, you can look into Blue Earth's residential pick-up program.
