Waiver & Release: This agreement, covenant not to sue, liability waiver and release is entered into and acknowledged by the undersigned for good and valuable consideration of which is acknowledged, for his or her participation in a recreational activity involving a motorcycle ride (the “Event”). The undersigned recognizes and acknowledges that his or her participation in the Event and related activities could/will expose him or her to risk of bodily and personal injury, damage to property, or the consequences thereof, including natural and man made hazards and/or conditions known and unknown, seen and unforeseen. The undersigned recognizes and acknowledges the inherent dangers and risk presented by his or her participation in activities involving motorcycle riding. The undersigned further recognizes that his or her participation in this activity is voluntary. The undersigned voluntarily assumes all risk of loss, damage, and/or injury, that may be sustained while participating in the Event and expressly waives and relinquishes any claim against HUBZone Technology Initiative and its owners, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and affiliates (collectively, “HTI”), arising out of his or her participation in the Event, of any type whatsoever, including but not limited to claims of negligence or other liability for injury, death, and property loss and damage. The undersigned agrees to indemnify, defend, and save and hold harmless HTI from any and all claims resulting while participating in the Event or while on route to or from any premises upon which the Event may take place. The undersigned agrees to take all measures to protect his or her property, including (but not limited to) all precautions against bodily or personal injury or property damage. The undersigned agrees to follow all safety measures and to conduct all activities in a safe and cautious manner. 

I authorize any person connected with HTI or the Event to administer first aid to me, as they deem necessary.  I authorize medical and surgical care and transportation to a medical facility or hospital for treatment necessary for my well-being, at my expense. 

I agree that any and all photographs, videos, motion pictures, movies, or television coverage of me taken or made at any time during, by, or in connection with the Event, or any reproduction, likeness, or resemblance of the same, in any and every form, style, size, or color, as well as my name, may in any manner be used, published, displayed, dealt in, and copyrighted by HTI and/or its successors and assigns, or by any other person or business entity authorized by HTI, without any restriction or limitation whatsoever, for the marketing and promotion of future events and HTI.

As a driving participant I acknowledge that I am legally licensed to drive a motorcycle and that the motorcycle and I are legally insured in compliance with the laws of the state of North Carolina.

I HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO THIS AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY.
