This survey is for DMHS to gather information in order to best advocate for what we need in our community as we move forward. We value your honest answers to guide us in planning for a safe return to school. As a DPS managed school we must adhere to the guardrails and guidance we are provided, however, understanding the needs of our community is critical to informing our approach. During the Annual Family Update (AFU) registration process you will be asked to select from two learning options for your student. 100% Virtual School Option or In-Person Learning Option.

Below you will find this same question along with additional questions regarding access. Thank you for completing this survey in addition to the AFU so that we can access your results more immediately and use them for our internal planning process.

We want to remind families that your answer in this survey to whether your child will be participating in the 100% Virtual Option vs. in-person is not permanently binding. You will have until August 24th to make a change to your selection in the Annual Family Update. A reminder that those who select 100% Virtual learning will be committing to that format through the first semester. If families select in-person learning they may move to the 100% virtual setting at any time in the semester. Finally, ALL students will begin the school year virtually. The soonest we will return to any form of in-person learning will be September 8th.
