Text structure that presents and events and resulting consequences. Example: There has been a decline of many parrot species in the Caribbean. Loss of habitat due to deforestation has played a key role in the decline of these species.  Also, natural phenomena such as hurricanes have destroyed most of their habitats and the trees from which they eat. They are also vulnerable to hunting and poaching for pet trade which keeps them out of their natural environment and opportunities to reproduce.
