St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest | 2024 Volunteer Registration Form

Hey St. Pete!

We are looking for volunteers to help us on Saturday, November 2nd from 10am - 4pm for the St. Pete Reads! Literacy Festival in celebration of National Family Literacy Month.

St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest welcomes the community to The Woodson African American Museum of Florida and our volunteers play an important role in the success of Lit Fest. Volunteers are needed in many roles to support the Fest including greeters, ushers, and artist assistants. Volunteer opportunities are available all day long and broken in to minimum of 3.5 hour shifts.


Commitment:

Commitment of working at least one 3.5 hour shift on November 2nd, 2024.

Commitment to attend a mandatory 45-minute virtual briefing session in advance of Lit Fest.

Commitment to pick up Festival t-shirt at the Cultured Books Literacy Fdn HQ (833 22nd. St. S.) in advance of Lit Fest.


Requirements:

14 years of age or older.

Ability to independently travel to and from the The Woodson African American Museum of Florida for scheduled shift.

The purpose of the SPRLF Street Team is to spread the word that #LitFest is happening! Volunteer opportunities will take place in October leading up to the big day! Tasks may include passing out flyers, tabling at Trunk or Treats, and tabling at Pinellas County School parent nights.
