Please fill out this form in its entirety to apply for our 2024 Kids Vendor Day experience at the Snohomish Farmers Market. Please read through the event information/details below to ensure you understand and are able to commit.
The goal of this elevated experience is to provide our Kidpreneurs with education and experience that helps them succeed in building their business ideas. The new program will include:
· 1st
Educational Kidpreneur Class - Saturday, May 18th from 10a-11:30a: Workshop
format with speakers and hands-on activities to help formulate a business plan,
grow their ideas, and learn the basics around merchandising, pricing
merchandise and cash flow. Snacks & beverages provided.
· 2nd
Educational Kidpreneur Class - Saturday, June 22nd from 10a-11:30a: Workshop
format with speakers and hands-on activities to focus on next level of business
planning including photography, sales, networking and how to be prepared for
market day.
· Junior
Chamber Day - July 16th from 11a-1p - A networking experience attending the
Snohomish Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting with an opportunity to conduct a
"practice run" of their business plan and adjust as needed prior to
Kids Vendor Day. Full lunch provided as well as sales opportunities.
· Kids
Vendor Days (participants choose 1) - August 1st & 15th 3-7 - : Table
reservation for the culminating event at the Snohomish Farmers Market.
Load in will be 1 hour prior and load out will take place after market closes.
Participation cost is $75 per child and all materials for participant are included**
Parent/Guardian lunch can be purchased for Junior Chamber Day event with pre-reservation and pre-paid $25 fee.
This program is open to kids ranging from 3rd through 10th grade. **Exceptions may be made depending on the situation.
Participants should be prepared to attend all events prior to market day as part of the program. We put this together with the best experience for the kiddos in mind.
Kidpreneur Class Kits can be picked up at the educational event or we may designate a pick-up day to get them to you ahead of time.
Parents/Guardians agree to photography of activities which may include their children for promotional purposes and sharing of experiences on social media.
Equipment Needed:
6ft table required for participation in SFM Kids Vendor Day.
Shade umbrellas allowed at market but must have minimum 30# of weight affixed.
Pop Up canopies are NOT allowed for Kids Vendor Day. We are working with several local sponsors to provide shade canopies for Kid Vendors. They may require sharing a 10x10 space with another participant.
Payment will be due upon approval to reserve your space in the classes/events and market dates.
Restrictions: Due to Snohomish County Health Permitting, no food-for-sale will be allowed.
The Snohomish Farmers Market, Snohomish Chamber of Commerce and Little Books of Big Business reserve the right to use their discretion in teaching materials, merchandise and marketing.
The Snohomish Farmers Market, Snohomish Chamber of Commerce and Little Books of Big Business reserve the right to select applicants that meet the needs of the event. Not all applications will be approved.
