Private Lesson Guidelines

Instructors are responsible for arranging the date, time, and location with a student and communicating their hourly rate for the lesson.

  • Please verify that the student has completed their Nexudus Registration prior to requesting a private lesson. This is needed in order to invoice them.

  • Once you've arranged your private lesson, please fill out the Private Lesson Student Invoice Request Form. This is for staff to invoice the student through Nexudus. Please allow 2-3 business days for your request to be processed and then 2-3 days for the student to pay the invoice.

  • This information will be input into our system and the student will be billed directly.

  • For private lessons, Instructors will be paid 65% (35% to Asylum) of the total amount billed.

  • Instructors must submit an invoice for the lesson after the lesson. This is for you to get paid as the instructor.

  • The materials fee are separate and requested directly from the student.

  • Artisans suggest a one-hour minimum for all private lessons.

  • Please meet your student at the Front Desk as default, if other arrangements are necessary, please communicate with (front-desk@) so they can direct the student.

  • Deskies will have them fill out a liability form located at the Holton front desk.
