Our volunteers are key to making it all happen. We are always looking for folks  with a range of experience. Whether you’re a designer, developer, or are just interested in diversifying tech, get in touch! There’s always space for more help.

Ways we currently need help:
1. Teaching Assistant
    - help with the workshops and review the material!
    - must be familiar with workshop content
2. Mentorship
   - guide a group of 2-5 mentees
   - mentees will carry out projects for a few weeks
   - set up meetings with mentees and prepare them for presentations and answer questions
   - must be familiar with python
3. Workshop Instructor
    - develop a workshop relating to computer science (ex. intro to web development)
    - create workbooks to facilitate live coding sessions
    - must have two years experience in selected workshop topic
    - note: our workshop can vary in format, but should be intended for folks with little to no coding experience
4. Officer/Planning Team Member
    - attend weekly meetings with the organizing team to plan and run the organization
    - help with various tasks including outreach, marketing, research etc.
5. Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer
    - run the ambassador program and delegate community building tasks
    - plan coffee chats and icebreakers during events
    - curate training for team and volunteers that create an inclusive community
    - attend weekly meetings with the organizing team to plan and run the organization

All volunteers MUST attend the general meeting prior to the event details TBA.
