Greetings, scholars! Keshawn (Cohort 22) and I (Emmanuel, Cohort 20) are forming a new organization on campus called "In Da Shop" or IDS for short. IDS is an initiative geared towards black and brown men that creates a safe space where we facilitate conversations and dive deeper into subject matters that are necessary to discuss, but are not typically focused on within our culture (e.g., hygiene, dealing with imposter syndrome, etc.). Although the initiative is geared towards black men, ANYONE is welcome to join, contribute to these conversations, and provide insight and perspective we may not otherwise receive.
