*Then come along to the ELECTION INFORMATION SESSION from 1-2PM on Level 1 at the Law School at 1:00pm Thursday 29th of August to chat to the directors and other committee members.

We're happy to introduce you to others who are interested in two-people positions if you're after a buddy! Don't stress if you cannot make it to the drop in session, all directors are available to have a chat via the email addresses listed in the Position Descriptions above/available on the MULSS website

Please read the instructions below prior to submission:

LSS GENERAL ELECTION RULES

1. Only students undertaking a full year of academic study at the University of Melbourne Law School in 2019/2020 are eligible for nomination.

2. Nomination forms must be submitted by 9:00pm Sunday 1 September 2019

3. Nominations must be proposed and seconded by two other current students of the Melbourne Law School who are MULSS members. Students may only propose and/or second ONE candidate per position. A student may not propose or second another candidate if they want to nominate for any position on the LSS themselves.
Example 1: a person may propose a candidate for Activities Director and Treasurer but they must not propose two candidates for Activities Director or two candidates for Treasurer.
Example 2: a person cannot propose a candidate for Treasurer if they are planning on running for Careers Director themselves

4. By submitting this application, applicants are taken to have read and understood the LSS Election Standing Rules, and agree to be bound by them.

5. Voting will be held from 9:00am Monday 9th of September to 5:00pm Friday 13th of September. Voting is to be conducted online.

Once you have submitted your candidacy, please email the Secretary (Sophie-Isabella Chalet) with your online profile (250 words to be displayed on the LSS website) and one A4 sized poster for display on an LSS noticeboard prior to 12 noon on Monday 2 September

The election season timeline is as follows;
Nominations Open - Monday 26th of August, 9am
Information session – Thursday 26th of August, 1pm (TBC)
Nominations Close – Sunday 1 September, 9pm  
Campaigning – Monday 2 September, 9am - Sunday 8 September
Voting – Monday, September 9th 9am,  to Friday September 13th, 5pm  
AGM and Announcement – Thursday September 19th at 1pm
