Technical Mentor application (Apps for Good Summer 2024 Online)
Teamup is looking for technical mentors to advise developer student teams online for the Apps for Good Summer 2024 cohort.

Timeline
Mentorship starts on Monday, May 20th, 2024 and ends on Friday, August 23rd, 2024.
You can choose to mentor one or multiple teams. 

Minimum expectations from mentors
  • Availability: Commit to dedicating 1-2 hours per week to review a team progress.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate coaching/mentoring skills to guide students through the software project.
  • Conduct: Model professionalism, ethics, and appropriate conduct when interacting with students. Maintain student privacy and respect.
  • Commitment: Passionate about civic tech and youth development. Eager to help students gain technical skills by building meaningful projects.
Areas of expertise
We are looking for mentors in one or more of the following areas.

Back-end Technical Mentors: Share knowledge of server-side programming, databases, and API development to help students build robust and efficient back-end systems. https://www.volunteermatch.org/search/opp3794661.jsp
