Curriculum Enhancement Grant Application-2023
The goal of this grant application is to make available unused funds through the curriculum
enhancement dollars provided by the Parent Faculty Organization (PFO). Each year, the review team
will assess proposals, in the format provided below, for funding. Projects that are ultimately funded are
those that answer key questions best and fulfill the educational mission of St. Simon the Apostle School.
The deadline for the Curriculum Enhancement Grant application is Sunday, April 30th.
You will receive notice of the status of your application on or before Friday, May 12th.

Grant Application Process

1. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the grant, the applicant must:
- Focus on initiatives related to the mission, goals, and strategic plan of the school.
- Be a teacher at St. Simon the Apostle School.

2. Funding

The grant is funded by the remainder of unused dollars from the curriculum enhancement money
provided at the start of each academic calendar year to the teachers and instructional assistants at
the school. Available monies will vary each year. Funds will be awarded prior to the start of the
following academic calendar year and need to be used during that academic calendar year.
Any unused dollars by March 3rd will be made available for the next grant cycle.

Grant applications must be submitted by April 30, 2023 and will be announced on May 12 , 2023.
