Ivy Roots: International Women's Day Live Music Event
Join us on Monday, March 8th from 12-1 PM for a musical performance and live Q&A session with singer/songwriter, Ivy Roots, in honor of International Women's Day! This event's theme will focus on women's empowerment and Ivy's story as a woman of color navigating the often critical music industry.

"Ivy Roots is an up and coming singer/songwriter from the Midwest. From singing, writing, playing piano and to guitar, to producing beats, she continues to grow into her artistry. Her style ranges from feel good 90’s R&B/Hip Hop, to acoustic music, Neo Soul and Pop. Ivy has graced a wide variety of stages, from local community events to regional festivals and New York’s Lincoln Center. Having performed solo acoustic, with her band and collaboratively with other artists, she easily demonstrates her wide range of talent and abilities.
From covers to a recently released single, “Hypothetical,” Ivy has been featured on 38 The Spot’s “Behind the Spotlight,” at Twelve Magazine’s “D9HA” at The American Jazz Museum, at “The Situation” in Tulsa, OK, and was the official Coca Cola Promo Participant of Los Angeles BET Experience during 2015 BET Awards Weekend."
