Educator in the Workplace EMPLOYER Information
The Educator in the Workplace program connects teachers with the business community. This program is an excellent way for educators to bring increased relevancy back to their classrooms.  For the employers, participating in this program by hosting an educator, is an excellent way to support and positively impact the education community. Hosting an educator would involve allowing an educator to shadow one or more employees at your workplace for TWO 8-hour days (for Fall and Spring cohorts) or THREE 8-hour days (during the expanded Summer Cohort).

A key part of this program, and YCAL's mission, is connecting educators and employers.  Educators enrolling in this program are doing so to establish connections to industry and often do not have a contact at a desired workplace.

Providing us with the information below will help us establish a database of potential workplaces that we can utilize to direct our educators to contact you for scheduling purposes.

Please note that in providing the information requested, that you are not obligated to host an educator (we merely hope you will consider it if available).  Also, the data collected will NOT be shared publicly.  When your workplace is a potential match to an educator in need of a site, information will be provided to them and only to be used for this specific purpose.

Thank you for your support of our educators!
