We're so glad that you are applying for the Live Like Blaine Foundation's 2024-2025 Leadership Academy!

The Leadership Academy is an in-depth 10-month program where you will (1) learn leadership and interpersonal skills that will make you a stronger leader, teammate, and friend; (2) meet other female high school athletes from different schools and make friendships that will stay with you throughout high school and beyond; (3) grow your resume as you start to think about applying to college; (4) participate in service opportunities; (5) have a ton of fun and SO MUCH MORE!

The Leadership Academy is a year-long commitment during your sophomore year of high school. We will meet in-person once a month from August - June. Sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. There will also be other opportunities to connect with the members of your cohort and your adult mentors. If selected to be a part of the Academy, it is our expectation that you will attend the monthly sessions. IF YOU FEEL YOU CANNOT MAKE THE TIME COMMITMENT, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

YOU MUST BE CLASS OF 2027 AND PLAY A HIGH SCHOOL SPORT TO APPLY.

DATES:
Sundays, once per month 4-6 pm (exact dates announced in the summer)
September 2024 - May 2025

LOCATION:
Philadelphia, PA. Location TBD - Transportation help will be available as needed. 

COST:
There is no cost to participate in the Leadership Academy. This is a program of the Live Like Blaine Foundation and is COMPLETELY FREE to participants. Live Like Blaine will cover the cost of all materials, events, and travel if needed.

Please complete and submit the following application to the Live Like Blaine Foundation. You will also need a letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or mentor. Complete instructions are below. If your application is selected as a finalist, we will contact you to schedule a 15-20 minute informational interview.
