Medical specialty dealing with prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. An Internal Medicine residency can lead to a career as a Primary Care Physician, a Hospitalist, a wide range of Sub-specialists (cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, oncology, etc.), or a career in academic medicine.

IMIG collects dues with Family Med IG, Peds IG, and Med-Peds IG - $8 for IMIG , $14 for IMIG plus one other Interest Group, $18 for IMIG plus two other Interest Groups, $20 for all four Interest Groups (IMIG, Family Med, Peds, Med-Peds).
