Honors College Student Ambassador Application

​​Want to get more involved in the Honors College? Apply to become an Honors College Student Ambassador, and share your love of the Honors College with current/prospective students and alumni!

We're seeking application for 4 - 6 student ambassador positions to represent the Honors College for recruitment events, engage with alumni/donors, and help shape new programs and improvements. Taking ownership of the Honors College experience, these students will work to promote the Honors College to external and internal audiences.

Requirements

Applicants should be current Honors College students in good standing. This includes students who have completed Foundations. All majors are encouraged to apply. Students should enjoy engaging with the public.

Students must participate in at least three activities per semester. Examples include but are not limited to: 

  • off-campus college fairs, 
  • on-campus recruitment events (ex: WVU Discover Days, Distinguished Scholars), 
  • Hall Tours, 
  • Honors College Overnight Experience (hosting or class shadowing), 
  • Honors Retreat (fall only), 
  • Honors Recognition Ceremonies (spring only), 
  • Honors College Day of Giving, 
  • or other Honors College activities.

Students will meet monthly to discuss upcoming events, goals and training related to the month's events and activities.
