Film Appreciation @ Prakriti Summer 2021
Films can be powerful mirrors to understand ourselves better and offer a great aid for self-discovery. Through child friendly classics from world cinema we hope to create contemplative spaces of self-reflection and dialogue for young individuals. The workshop will help children express themselves in a safe space and develop their critical conscience. The movies selected will be thought-provoking and inspiring.

We will watch 6 movies, taken from Netflix or Prime, before our online meeting. We will meet in a small group of at most 10 children, for young learners to express their impressions and learning.

Facilitator, Naveen, is a student of Yoga. He is a co-founder of Ritambhara and the founder of Pūrṇam. His interests include Evolutionary Leadership, Integral Psychology and Process Work. He is particularly keen on working with young change-makers and those interested in bridging spirituality and social change. He loves reading, good cinema and spending time in 'nature'.
