This Virtual Scavenger Hunt was created by the Kamloops Exploration Group (KEG) as an event to celebrate BC Mining Month during May 2021.

The draw portion of this Scavenger Hunt is no longer open, however, the Scavenger Hunt Questions and Stops are available for you to continue to visit virtually.

This Virtual Scavenger Hunt that will take you to interesting places around Kamloops, BC, Canada, without having to leave your home. We will introduce you to interesting geological sites and some interesting mining or mining related sites. We hope you have some fun along the way!



General Instructions:  

Each map location will have a coloured circle with a white star icon. Once you click on the icon, some information with a link will appear. Please note, you may get a redirect prompt when you click on the link on the map page. Please select the redirect link (usually the first one).

Click on the link to proceed to the Stop question (note, there are 7 virtual stops). Once you have answered the question, a submit or next button will appear. If you answered the question correctly, you will be given a link to continue. If the answer is incorrect, you will need to try to answer the question again.
