Wetlands Park Scientific Use Permit
Request for Survey, Scientific Research, Collection and Use Permission
The 2,900 acre Clark County Wetlands Park was created in 2001 by Clark County. In addition to conveying surface flows from the Las Vegas Valley to Lake Mead, Wetlands Park provides habitat for more than 300 species of flora and fauna. Under the management of Clark County, Wetlands Park offers a variety of educational, recreational and stewardship opportunities. The types of allowable uses vary throughout Wetlands Park as do requirements for formal, written permission for certain activities. Some areas require written concurrence from other landowners and/or other entities.
The application below will allow for Clark County Wetlands Park to evaluate the action(s) requested and provide land owner authorization on behalf of Clark County Wetlands Park. The undersigned is required to obtain all necessary permits and authorizations and is responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
In general, activities within Wetlands Park that disturb the soil outside of open roads and trails, remove rocks, vegetation, seeds, and water or require handling or removal of animals (including insects or spiders) require written permission from the County.
All requests must be submitted thirty (30) days prior to the desired date(s) of the activity.
