Calling Christian Ladies!!!! Moms, Guardians, Grandmas, Aunts, Big Sisters, Older Cousins, and Friends!!! You are needed to help with PG season 12!!!

Grace Lutheran Church, with Helena Isbell Leading the pack, is excited to announce! Project Godway Season 12, 2024! We are so thankful for yet another opportunity to continue to share the Good News about Jesus and His love and to continue our mission of giving young ladies an opportunity to "Explore their Creativity While Learning About Their Creator". Once again we will be able to offer Project Godway FREE of charge to the young ladies in our community in middle school (and high school)! We cannot do this without the help of other Christian women! If you have a heart to share your love of Jesus with the next generation of young ladies we pray you will join us!

Project Godway will be five fast Friday nights this year (and end with a celebration/fashion show on Saturday night March 23)! Starting Friday February 23rd ! 6:00pm-9:30pm at Grace Lutheran Church.

Below is the dates we will need volunteers to help us. Once you sign up you will be contacted with all the details. Please feel free to join us every night! A Few nights! Or even one night!

NEW for 2024! This season we will do ONE project a night all together rather than having multiple projects going each night. This should be a lot of fun and a little easier for everyone! Each date below includes the project we will do on that night as well. We have some ladies who would like to help the girls with a simple sewing project. It will be their choice of a scarf or skirt. And we plan to have some other crafts available, like card making for girls that finish early. The extra projects will be things we can give away and bless others with.

This season is titled the The Journey: Walking by the Word. And our focus verse is Psalms 119:105 "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." http://www.projectgodway.com/

Friday Night February 23rd, 6-9:30pm (or between this time)- I would like to help with the first night of PG.

Project: Diamond Painting (project time,6:30pm-8:20pm)

This night will be a little unique in that the girls will spend a little time learning how PG will work and getting to know each other and all the volunteers. Please let us know in the comments any preferences on the type of project you would like to help with or if you would like to help in another way such as "checking in" and "checking out" the girls for the night. Or if you prefer to be flexible and help Helena as a "floater" to wherever she needs help. (i.e. I can help with machine sewing, I can help with hand sewing, I am willing to help with any crafts you offer including machine and hand sewing, I prefer to help with a no- sew project, I would love to help with cooking) Please note: PG will start at 6pm for the girls and end at 9:30pm. You may stay to help the whole night or only for the project, or part, you want to help with. We will have more specifics on project time to give you soon.

Saturday March 23rd, The Grand Finale- A Fashion Show and Final Celebration-( The time TBD)

This event will most likely be an hour and a half to two hours. Depending on what we decide to do for this night we will need volunteers to set out and clean up cookies and punch/lemonade. Help with hair and makeup. Take photos. Help with setup and cleanup. Help girls get their look together. Bring cookies. Please share any specific ways you would like to help in the comments section below.
