Welcome to our Introductory Workshop on Dance Movement Psychotherapy conducted by Ms. Mioi Forster-Nakayama ( DTAA (Prof. 220-03), RDMP, JADTA) who is a Licensed Dance Movement Psychotherapy Practitioner. It's an experiential interactive live workshop, where you'll learn experiential, bodily and understand a Creative Somatic Approach to Psychotherapy. This training is for those who are interested in creative art therapies, planning to take DMP as a career or love to move and dance. Mioi has an extensive experience of clinically working with children, adolescents and adults with special needs, emotional and behavioural issues in various settings such as psychiatric wards, community centers, charities and schools. She was trained in Goldsmiths, University of London as a dance movement psychotherapist and clinically practiced in the U.K. and Japan. She is currently practicing in Adelaide, Australia.
