Call for applications for public authorities and companies from the CE region
Interreg EfficienCE is a cooperation project funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE programme that aims at reducing the carbon footprint in the region.

A key part of the project is the pilot application of novel energy saving technologies in public transport infrastructures, being "first-of-its-kind" in Central Europe ranging from renewable energy integration intro metro stations (Vienna) and trolley depots (Gdynia) to upgrade a substation for multipurpose use of existing public transport infrastructure (Maribor). The solutions will be shown through virtual site visits.

Are you currently in the process of developing a pilot measure for energy efficient PT infrastructure or adopting innovative technologies? If yes, apply now!

Applicants should represent public transport authorities and companies within the INTERREG Central Europe Programme Area (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, parts of Germany, parts of Italy – see map at https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/discover/programme.html with the exception of the partner cities, such as Bergamo, Budapest, Gdansk, Gdynia, Leipzig, Maribor, Pilsen and Vienna).

The public transport authorities/companies will benefit from a knowledge transfer scheme, exchanging with one of the EfficienCE project's partners topics thorugh an online discussion.
