Thank you for your interest in being a mentor for our fall training programs for Boulderthon's Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. Mentors are part of what make Fleet Feet training programs so welcoming and accessible for all levels and we wouldn't be what we are today without our mentors and volunteers! Mentor, defined:
A mentor is a member of a training program who runs for the benefit of other members, not themselves. This is a volunteer position that puts you in the position to support and mentor new runners to help them reach their goals. You're a great fit for this position if you love giving back to your running community, mentoring new runners, and sharing your love for the sport.
Mentor Requirements:
- Attend and run in 75% of meet-ups
- Run with your designated pace group in the capacity of a mentor
- Bring Fleet Feet's core values to life in your pace group
- Alert coaches of any feedback, comments about injury, etc.
Mentor Perks:
- Join the Fleet Feet Training Program free of charge (valued up to $160)
- Enjoy 30% off in-store for the duration of the training program you are mentoring
